Cyber Security Incident Information Page

On Friday, November 10, 2023, Glendale Community College detected a cyber security incident that prompted the college to take several Information Technology Systems offline. The college immediately launched an investigation and took steps to secure the information systems. By Monday, November 20, 2023, all critical systems had been evaluated and restored to service.

The investigation determined that an unauthorized party accessed or acquired information regarding employees of the college including names, addresses, dates of birth and Social Security numbers. GCC takes the privacy of information in its control seriously and have implemented additional safeguards and security measures. In addition, the college has sent notification letters to any employees that are believed to have been impacted by the cyber security incident.
